What would the outcome be if a full grown Silverback Gorilla and a full grown Grizzley Bear battled?
March 6th, 2010
The gorilla would win because his chest beating, heart pounding, bad breath would definitely scare away a grizzly bear.

Silver back gorillas?
Is the ’silverback’ gorilla a species born with the genes to become a silverback gorilla or do they develope a silver back when they become the ‘leader of the pack’ or does every mature male become a silverback gorilla and find its own pack to dominate?
Silverbacks are dominant males over 12 years old with a patch of silver hair on his back. He is the strongest and most powerful in his group, making all the decisions. Males under 12 years can breed but do not have the silver back, and this develops after they have left the group and started another clan. So, yes, most male gorillas will one day become a silverback.
black people in africa lost their body hair because its too hot in africa. so most of them are hairless.
but why didnt the gorillas of africa lose hair too?
Humans lost hair because they were filthy and hair was prone to infections and parasites.

Tracking the highly endangered Mountain Gorillas is one of the most exhilarating wildlife encounters one can have. Only an estimated 750 mountain gorillas are left in the wild, and can be found in Uganda, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Currently it is safe to trek in Bwindi, Mgahinga (both in Uganda), and in Parc National des Volcans (Volcanoes National Park) in Rwanda. Watching these gentle giants in their natural habitat is beyond comparison. If you wish to track gorillas, call your safari expert, toll-free 1-877-GO-ON-SAFARI (1-877-466-6723), and let us plan YOUR amazing safari to see the mountain gorillas. (It also combines easily as a three- to four day add-on excursion to any safari in Kenya or Tanzania.) – Video clip/pictures shot by Christine Eichin, Your Safari Expert, Above and Beyond Africa, in the Virunga mountains, while visiting the Sousa and the Hirwa gorilla groups mid January 2009 (Olympus SP550-UZ camera). There are these people I work with who were asking this question, and I want your ideas.
Remember it’s just the gorilla and the bear in an arena. No trees.
