Of the approximately 250 remaining mountains gorillas, some 150 are located in the 30,000-acre Parc des Volcans in the small African country of Rwanda has the highest population density in Africa. Most people live on small farms. To this population, the park represents survival land for farming. Eliminating the park could support 36,000 people on subsistence farms.

well they could move them and place them on in other areas in parks also

i sounds like they really need to be thinking of something
animals are important to us but the people is who needs to have land and space also

Nepal to visit BaseCamp Everest or Uganda/Rwanda to see Mountain Gorillas?

Sunday, December 6th, 2009

I’m trying to work out where to go to.. I like the idea of both destinations and they both cost more or less the same to get to from the UK… which would you go for… ONLY OUT OF THESE TWO.. NOT INTERESTED IN ANYWHERE ELSE..
Thanks…

Mountain Gorillas every time for me. Who knows in a few years time you might not get the opportunity to see these magnificent creatures in the wild. Plus by you holidaying there you help that countries economy and educate by showing an interest in their country. And if you need someone to carry your luggage you’ve only to ask!!

Who would win in a fight? Just hypothetical of course.

i think the tiger, because although the gorilla is very capable, the tiger is more agile, and has a more formidable jaw+ huge claws
