   Mountain gorillas are primarily herbivores. They eat over 100 different plant species (mainly herbs, stems, and roots) as well as the odd insect or worm.

   They are not preyed upon by any animals except human. They are killed by hunters for food (bushmeat) and for trophies. They are dying out because their habitat is being lost to human activity.
